Volunteer Coordinator

🌟 Join Our Team: Volunteer Coordinator Needed! 🌟

(Paid role)

Would you like to be part of history? Part of the team that uncovers a 300 million-year-old fossil forest, restores one of the UK’s most impressive industrial sites and creates exciting green spaces for the local community. Then read on, we have a rewarding role for the right candidate in a totally mind-blowing organisation.

We’re looking for an organised and charismatic Volunteer Coordinator for a new visitor attraction opening in Brymbo just outside Wrexham, North Wales in Spring 2026. We’re passionate to ensure this series of projects helps breathe new life and opportunity into a community that was decimated when the steelworks closed.

We have a loyal and dedicated group of volunteers working with us already but there is a lot to be done and we’re going to more volunteers to get involved – volunteers you will recruit, inspire, train, supervise and look after. You’ll be the kind of person who rolls their sleeves up, gets a team behind a plan and makes stuff happen. You’ll work as part of a small, welcoming team who will help you develop your skills through the most exciting stage of this project so far.

The role is currently 30 hours per week, with pay subject to experience up to £14.35 per hour.

If you think this is for you, throw your hat in the ring and apply today. We’re a warm, supportive team with a lot of ambition – come join the fun and be a part of history!

Application Deadline: Sunday 21 April 2024

Assessment Centre: Monday 29 April 2024

Appointment: Tuesday 30 April 2024
