Who's involved, and who are our Partners?

The Trust is a charity with trustees, staff and volunteers. Details of our trustees and staff are in the sections below.

We have the support of a wide range of private, public and third sector organisations who all play highly valued roles in helping us to achieve our charitable aims. They include the following:

  • Brymbo Developments Ltd – granting us a 25 year lease, and linking the heritage developments with the wider Brymbo Park scheme

  • Wrexham County Borough Council – making connections with relevant departments, providing cashflow-aiding loan funding, and being part of our project management board to guide key decisions as we progress

  • Brymbo Community Council – helping us to co-plan events and making sure that the community always remains at the heart of the project

  • Cadw – Championing the significance of Brymbo’s heritage in the UK and ensuring the quality of our repairs to the protected buildings and structures

  • Natural Resources Wales – Championing the significance of Brymbo Fossil Forest and ensuring its exploration always supports its SSSI status

  • National Museums Wales – Bringing Brymbo’s story to a Wales-wide audience, and helping us to manage specimens and artefacts

  • Wrexham Glyndwr University – providing creative input to our interpretation and activities through student projects and courses

  • Coleg Cambria – supporting our apprenticeship programme and helping to deliver our ‘self-build’ work to involve people in the restoration and landscaping processes

  • Brymbo & Tanyfron Regeneration Trust – sharing office space, co-planning community events, and bringing the best opportunities to people together

Our Funders have been growing in number and financial value since 2012. Details of our investment record can be found here, including the current position on spend.
