A bit of important information, please read it before you fill in the request form below.

Information about our tours: We ask that you arrive 5 mins before the tour is due to start so we can register everyone. Tour times can vary between groups but generally: Fossil Forest walking tours can take about 40 - 60mins. 4x4 tours can take around 40 - 50mins. Walking Heritage Tours take around 50 - 60mins. 4x4 Tours - If anyone in your group needs a car seat or booster seat in accordance with UK laws, this needs to be provided by you. We are not currently able to provide seating aids for young people. Part of the tour route is on a public highway. If you’re on a walking tour please wear suitable walking shoes. We endeavour to clear the site for walking but it’s still rough ground underfoot. Due to the nature of the site, we don’t currently have wheelchair access available for our walking tours. However please get in touch and we can arrange something that is more accessible. 4x4 tours are limited and may be possible for wheelchair users with some movement, please contact us for a chat so we can see how best we can help. There are some gazebos in areas around the site for shelter but if we have adverse weather you’ll need warm and waterproof clothing. Also if we get exceptionally good weather a hat and sunblock are advised. If you or anyone in your personal group need to take medication please carry this with you at all times. The only time we are likely to cancel a tour or full open day is if the weather/winds are too severe. We’ll get in touch if this happens. All tours are currently in English by our tour guides. Dogs are welcome but we ask that they can be kept on a lead at all times to be considerate to others visiting the site. Extra Information

Parking:
There’s parking on-site and we’re looking to have more space available close by as overflow parking.

Toilets:
We have toilets on site in the main heritage area near our outdoor cafe

Card payments:
We can take card payments in our outdoor cafe.

Access:
We advise wearing walking shoes or trainers on site. In its current state the site still has many uneven surfaces, some level changes and inclines that make sections unsuitable for people with mobility difficulties. Rectifying these barriers is a key part of our restoration plans as part of Stori Brymbo. Meanwhile we advise contacting us to discuss further.

Pets:
We ask that all dogs/pets are kept on a lead at all times.
